Day 2 Ends (mostly)

After surviving a rather intense thunder storm that involved one bunk (actually they were just the only ones to admit it) being so scared that they were convinced their bunk had been struck by lightning and a push back of the afternoon run to avoid the rain, we were treated to a rousing talk from Vince Touey, the head track and cross country coach at Widener University.  Vince is always a great guest to have in camp and last night was no different.

After Vince's speech, the kids retreated to the dining hall, once again just beating some incoming rain, and competed in trivia night, vying for prizes provided by none other than the "nike guy" who has been providing motivation in the form of free Nike gear for a number of contests.

There were also rumors of an in-depth discussion about who would survive if the Briarwood staff were sent off to compete in a Hunger Games style death-match, obviously it would end in a stalemate due to the fact that we all love each other so much that we'd never be able to think hostile thoughts and it would just involve group hugs and a lot of disappointed spectators.
