Day 1 ends...

The first day of the 2011 Briarwood Running Camp ended uneventfully.  The day saw several inches of rain fall and an afternoon run on the roads near camp. Chef Ed cooked a fine meal of grilled(?) chicken, macaroni and cheese  and fresh vegetables and topped it off with ice cream. Several in depth discussions among Face, Goose the Green Gobbler and Bald Eagle  were held about whether the meat for dinner was actually chicken and whether 10 minutes was enough time to walk 100m before we needed to meet with the campers.  This morning the first group of campers traveled out to Peace Valley Park for the a.m. run.  A ride to the tow path in Lamberville is on tap for this afternoon.  Check back for updates.
